Rider Review

After racing on the Element for 2 years which is the predesessor to the Turbo, I firstly found the Turbo far easier to set on the mast. The cams slip onto the mast with ease if you set the downhall roughly and then give the sail lots of outhall. You then can set the sail as you like it. Its leach looks really loose on the beach but thats the reason I love it so much on the water. The loose leach allows the sail to deposit excess wind very efficently which gives the Turbo a bigger wind range from the Element. You do sacrifice a little bottom end grunt but it's a small price to pay for the additional stability when overpowered. The sail is super stable at speed and doesn't make you feel you are sailing a camed power sail - it feels like a no cam sail but with far more stability and security, and of course more speed! I loved it so much I now race on them!
